I was messing around with FwO's 3di vewer today. When all of a sudden I got this error message "Run-time error '76': path not found" I get it when clicking either the 'open 3di' button or the 'open pff' one. Then the program closes down.
I have tried moving the program around to various folders and re-downloading it. No luck..

The program was working fine, I opened up some files, and looked on them. Then I extracted four 3dis from the pff to the folder where i have the 3di tool. and after that its not working. (I deleted those four 3dis, hoping that would fix it)

I have done a little googling on this error, but not found a 'fix' for it. ANY ideas are more than welcome.

Solution here...: http://www.dfarena.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10151 Wink

Btw - I've found that error to happen if you....:

- Open 3diView and view a 3di file, then exit out of 3diView
- Then delete or move that 3di file (hmm, or maybe the whole folder)
- Then open 3diView again ---> error occurs

Btw - if you click on the URL I posted above, you'll get the following error message...:

Quote:
The requested URL /phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10151 does not exist on our server.

This is because this web site has been re-structured at one time, and the paths have been changed. In such cases one should replace the phpBB2 part with phpBB instead. In this case that would give the following URL...: http://www.dfarena.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=10151

Anyway, here's the solution posted by morales in that thread...:

Its a visual basic problem.
How good are you with regedit?

You need to navigate to this -

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\FwO_blah

Highlight all entries in the right hand window and delete them.
Restart p.c

If this dont fix it try updating ya VB runtimes.
