The WTF mod team is very close to being finished with the mod for DFX2
just weapons left to finish really ... then a short bit of testing ....
why make a mod for DFX2 ....
i can only give ya a few reasons
transfering what was already made for DFX from the BO Mod to DFX2 BO Mod was not a big deal ... yes there are somethings that are different... but all in all ... had we pushed really hard ... we could have had it done in half the time....
DFX2 is a bit of a dispointment imho ... no big secret ... i was a closed beta tester for nova ... i thank them for the chance to help them with the game.
i only wish they would have listened a bit more from the testers ..( the mod makers ).. maybe the game would have been better? i don't know ... what is done is done and nova is not going to do much more with the game .... hence why we made our mod.
i geuss we will see how well it does once it's released to the public ....

Way Kewel. Sometimes when you beat a dead horse it jump-starts its heart like CPR. Good luck, I admire your courage and will check it out. .
I too wish they had listened to the modmakers.

I'm gearing up towards making a mod, which I'm calling the Marksman Project (Release Name will probably be something different).
Basic goals of it is the make the ballistics more reaslitic, as well as address some current balancing issues.
If it proves to be popular, I'll update the models .
